Happy 70th birthday to an all-time Inter legend who happens to bear a striking resemblance to me. (Look at my avatar picture -- the similarities are uncanny.)

Spending his entire career at Inter, Sandro played 17 seasons for us, which puts him up right up there with Facchetti and Zanetti among Inter's longest-serving players. He scored a brace against Real Madrid to win Inter's first European cup, and netted 116 goals in his career with us overall, which is especially impressive when you remember that he wasn't always played as a forward. He won a Euro Cup with the azzurri in addition, and might well have won a Wold Cur were it not for then-NT-manager Valcareggi's weirdness. Plus, he had the kind of mustache that makes both Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck look like prissy little girly men.
