After a great start of the season, It seems like every big game Inter plays will be the next reality check for the fans, but after surviving Juventus and beating Fiorentina, these fans have every reason to be excited. The next big game however should be the biggest obstacle on Inter's road for redemption. On Saturday Inter welcomes Roma, the most in form team in Serie A, a team that hold a 100% win record with the most goals scored and the least conceded.
But this reality check is not exclusive for Inter. Following a disappointing 2012-2013 Roma has surpassed the expectations of even their most optimist fans, however one can only wonder how this team will fare against tougher opposition.
Mazzari will look to count on the same trusted line up against Roma this Saturday, however fitness issues might force him to do without two instrumental figures in the name of Jonathan and Campangaro. In the pre-match interview mazzari admitted that those absences might force a more conservative approach in the midfield implying that Taider might get the notch ahead of Kovacic. He also commented on Guarin's bad form and stressed his need for continuity.
Inter (Probable): Handanovic; Rolando, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus; Pereira, Taider, Cambiasso, Guarin, Nagatomo; Palacio, Alvarez
Roma (Probable): De Sanctis; Torosidis, Benatia, Castan, Balzaretti; Strootman, De Rossi, Pjanic; Florenz, Totti, Gervinho
