Inter vs Fiorentina, a few things to look out for

With the match against Fiorentina not far away, we come to next big challange of the season. Inter vs Fiorentina is a hard game no doubt. So here are a few thing I would like to see/what i expect from the game:

1. The attack

So far we have started brilliantly. 13 goals in 4 games and Milito returns and scores 2 goals to remind us why he is not just the Prince but the King of Milan. However Milito started as substitute and that is where he must be on Thursday. Milito still looked slow and jaded and despite his magnificent performance, he is clearly not ready to start. He must be rested and continue to be brought on slowly until his fitness goes up and we are sure that he is reaching optimal conditions. With Milito on the bench, I think we need to see Icardi start a game. He has already scored against Juventus and we need to see more of him. However there is a problem. Both Rodrigo and Ricky have been in great form and neither deserves to be displaced. However it might be an idea to rest at least one of them as Mazzari did, giving Palacio only 55 minutes on Sunday, so that Icardi or even Belfodil get a chance. Either way the attack is currently firing on all cylinders and all players are raring to go and play.

2. The midfield Trio

With Cambiasso pulling back the years and reminding us all of the good old days were he was one the best CDM in the world, Taider and Kovacic showing why their full of potential and Guarin being relatively quiet and just getting on with his job, you wonder who should start on Thursday. Another question is wether to bring Ricky into the midfield in order to accommodate Icardi but that might reduce the effectiveness of Ricky who has found his true calling playing behind the striker. In my opinion we need guarin and cambiasso to start. Guarin altough not on top form acts as a muscle man to help cambiasso who simply isn't the same physical specimen he once was. the due remind a little of Vidal and Pirlo. Even tough cambiasso is much more orthodox cdm while Pirlo is a regista but both are not the same physically anymore and have Guarin and Vidal respectively to help them. The third in my opinion should be up to Mazzarri. Both are young eager and willing to learn and both have performed well. Its been nice to see taider settling but maybe its time to Kova a run to see how he performs.

3. Rotation

Having started so well, its easy to see why Mazzarri has had little reason to rotate. Players such as Periera, Andreolli, Kuzmanovic, Icardi, Belfodil, Milito (because of injury) have seen little to no to action so far, (chivu, Samuel, Zanetti are all out injured/recovering). Now that we are playing in midweek and especially seeing as we will have a game on Sunday as well, it would make sense that either in this game or the next there would be some rotation. Players such as Palacio, cambiasso, guarin, campangaro, nagatomo etc might not be rested for this game because of the importance of it but then we would nearly certainly see quite a few of them taking a break and letting others play on Sunday against Cagliari.

4. Tight Game

We may be coming into this on a high after some very good results but Fiorentina have matched so far. They too have picked up 3 wins and a draw and you can expect the game to be a close one. Fiorentina play some good football under a young and exciting manager with a good squad. While they may be missing a few good players, we can't become complacent considering that they beat us 4-1 last year, something i hope they fail to repeat! Mazzarri will have the boys ready for this match knowing they need to work just as hard in every game no matter who we play, as we saw against Sassuolo.

I predict a win of 2-1.

Tell me below, in the comment section, what you predict for the score. Please Comment and tell me how I'm doing and how I can improve

Thanks
