Tuesday was a momentous day in Inter's history, with Suning hosting a glamorous press conference to announce that they had officially acquired a majority stake in the club, and making several ballsy proclamations about how they are going to return us to former glories as quickly as possible (we can but hope).
Because of all that however, some people might have missed the fact that our kits for the 2016-17 season were leaked on two online websites. There was a bit of a commotion around a month ago when a concept design spread over Twitter and was misinterpreted as our new official shirt, but this time we seem to be dealing with the real thing - or the real things, that is, as both our home and away strip have been leaked in the last 24 hours, by FootyHeadlines and TodoSobreCamisetas respectively.
The home shirt apparently looks like this...
... While the away shirt looks like this...
I tend to slowly warm to whatever our kit looks like as the season progresses, so I'm not particularly opinionated on this sort of thing, but they look quite good from where I'm sitting. The yellow is a new addition to the home strip, which may or may not be to your liking, but they're not exactly controversial designs. The official presentation for these two shirts is apparently set for the start of July, when Inter head for their pre-season training camp in Brunico. We'll find out for sure whether these are real then.
