Inter Info: 2/11/08

What’s up my dawgs? It was a crazy day in footy yesterday, and also at theoffsides. (It’s still continuing today, just check out the comments for my post match review.) So I’m sort of still calming down after a day and a half of heated arguments. In other news, the temperatures have fell to an unbelievable (and record breaking) -40 F in the Nation’s Icebox. (Minnesota for all your retards who aren’t good with word association. Wait, I’m sorry, I’m not supposed to say retard. Mentally challenged. There, that’s better.) Sorry I’m a little grouchy, but when I walk outside and see my grandma frozen in place because the heater broke where she plays bingo, you can’t blame me. Here’s your daily fix. (Or personal portable heater. You can pick. I would suggest the heater.)

—-> Here’s The Great One copying what I said yesterday. He’s 100% right about ref’s being tougher on him. That’s very easy to see just by watching the game. Every time he tries to “jostle” for position, especially when he’s trying to win the header from a punt, the whistle is blown. “The only thing me and the team can do is win, and this is what we are doing.” Perfect, just perfect Great One. That’s basically what I, and all Inter supporters here at theoffside have been trying to say, we just win. So don’t be mad about it. You don’t have to be happy either, just accept it.

—-> TSB is blocking out all the bullshit as well. Bravo, man, bravo. I hope the rest of Inter are taking up the same philosophy.

—-> The retard (I mean nice mentally challenged man) is back. Carlo must be reading this site, because he basically stole what I’ve been saying since the Parma game. “Indeed they are, and this is most certainly the sign of a great team. Inter have the mental strength and character to suffer and still win.” He robbed that shit right from my page, wtf Carlo?

—-> This is Cassano. Even though I am a Inter fan through and through, my two favorite players are Cassano and Maradona. Cassano has such a natural gift, but he doesn’t give a shit, and that’s pretty cool. Also, the guy has a few screws loose up in that head of his. So it’s no surprise when he says shit like this, “Are we allowed women in the build-up before matches? Well you simply have to organise it. You take a room upstairs and then quickly you meet up with them.” That’s what I like to call, Cassano Classic (CC).

—-> Super Mario is also a mind reader. “Then, when I saw he did come in I felt sure he would score. Paloschi is more of a pure striker than me and is more prolific.” Who knew?

—-> Inter Milan technical manager Marco Branca has said for Inter to still be “serious” about their CL clash with Liverpool, despite their English troubles. I see Liverpool as the English version of A.C. Milan (at least this season), they can’t play for shit in the domestic league, but when they get to the CL they can be dangerous. That’s what I see here, a dangerous CL Liverpool. Should be a fun match.

So till’ I see ya’, see ya’.

You know, the FSC commentators were complaining that Inter wasnt playing there usual attacking football, and that they were not as physical as they have been in the past. I think 3 red card in three games explain that. And it is true, every time Ibra touched a Catania player, the ref blew the whistle. Of course, the Catania player was sure to fall down at the slightest brush of the shoulder. Ibra should not be punished for his strength. If defenders fall down when trying to push him out of the way - that should not be a foul.

Oh and as for Milan - can you believe it. The kid scores on his very first touch in his very first Serie A game. It was amazing and I am happy for him.

Johonna- The Ibra thing is complete bullshit.

As for the kid at Milan, that’s crazy. In under 30 seconds of his pro career, and he already had a goal! Damn. Seems as if Super Mario and him are good friends, someone needs to teach him the rules of socializing with the enemy. Il Capitano may have to have a talk with Super Mario. :)

Just a wandering Rossonera here from the Milan Offside…

Not here for drama. Simply thought it was classy that you acknowledged Palo’s goal. Little beast of a guy, isn’t he? Pity though, with him fraternizing with the enemy and whatnot…I kid, it’s rather cute that they’re friends. Tell your Super Mario to watch his back though. Never know when we may sweep him up, considering our record with buying Inter players and making them into legends. ;)

and Robert, dude, I feel your pain. Chicago went down to -15 F today. Wow, -40, I can’t even fathom that. Hot chocolate and layers like a mofo is the way to go.

Robert: agreed about Liverpool. They are a very dangerous team even though they are playing poorly in England at the momemt. Still have a team full of extremely talented players. I am very much looking forward to the match on the 19th but I’ll be working. I’ll have to follow it on Inter’s website and we know how awesome that is. (Sarcasim at it’s best) Pretty cold in the garden state as well, but atleast my grandmother is not frozen. Who do you think is gonna start upfront against Liverpool with Ibra?? TSB…he was pretty silent in the last match that’s for sure.

I just read on goal.com that Adriano is facing a possible 18 month ban for head butting an opponent. Just when it looked like he was doing something positive he does this?? Never a dull moment with Adriano. He was actually starting to get some of his value back for Inter.

back again, I don’t want to start an argument but that Ibra news is pure bulshit! He is the forward that fouls the most of all of serie A that I have seen. The parma goal is an example, he waves around those elbows like he is a mad man… that is the only thing i really have against him since he is a great striker but he dives to much and he is way to physical up front. Inter are too physical of a team and finaly they are beeing shown the red cards they should have gotten earlier in the season, maybe liek this they will start playing better than before and stop fouling so much… I know INter players are very strong but they use their strenght the bad way.

that super mario kid, what has he done that he is the new star of Calcio? channel 4 can’t stop raving about him?

by the way, nice post robert, I guess it’s inters time to shine, next year Roma is going to take over calcio! jijijiji

    bets of luck

Hana- Thanks for the comment. Don’t worry I’ll personally make sure Super Mario si well protected from you guys. Yes it’s all about the layers. :)

Daniele- Yes, if you can read, I did. And as my man Johnny said, 8 points babey.

Johnny- Personally I think it will be The Great One and TSB, mainly because both of these guys have been hot recently. (Besides last game).

Johonna- Wow, 40. You REALLY have to layer up. :)

JCS- I understand where your coming from concerning the GReat One, but I still feel that refs are sort of “against him”. Oh, and thanks for your comment.

so whats the deal with this request Catania has made to have the win taken from Inter on Sunday and having themseleves awarded a 3-0 win?

They are claiming Materazzi was not eligible to play on Sunday becasue he did not play for the Azzurri on Wednesday.

As far as I understand, the club did not hold Materazzi back. He reported for duty and the National Team doctors declared him unfit to play and sent him home. He then played Sunday’s match against Catania.

Catania claims, in accordance with an FIGC rule, that Materazzi shouldhave played inthat match. Is it really coming to this?
