Inter Info: 2/25/08
By: robert | February 25th, 2008What’s up my dawgs? I’m still a bit disappointed with yesterdays performance, but I’ll get over it. I’m pissed because I thought they would come out with a bit more, “fire and desire”. (I sound just like the Knickerbockers own Walt Clyde Frazier. That’s right, “swishin and dishin”. Huh, what a sad Knick fan I am.) Some players (fucking Vieria) seemed as if they had taken 12 Tylenol before the game, a.k.a dead. NO, we have not yet hit crisis mode, but we are getting closer. YES, we still have a 9 point lead. BUT, as I said in my match preview, I wasn’t looking for points, I was looking for reassurance. And I didn’t get that. The Roma game on Wednesday, (Which I’ll have a match preview for tomorrow.) may be the biggest league game of the year. We win, it’s over. We loose, the race continues. In other news, George Washington’s hair is expensive. A Richmond man, who declined to give his name (wonder why?), purchased 4 strands of Washington’s hair (supposedly) for $17,000. Imagine that scene when he got home, “Hunny I had to sell the car to buy something of sentimental importance to me.” Then the wife says, “Wow, the car? But, if it’s important to you…..What is it?” “Hair.” Here’s your daily fix. (Or George Washington’s hair, on sale for $14,000. What a deal.)
—-> This is bullshit. I knew Cordoba was going to be out, but Zlatan as well? He wasn’t there for the Samp game, due to a knee injury, which I thought was bullshit. But apparently, it’s serious enough for him to be miss the most important league game of the year. My question is, when did he get this knee injury? He was fine during the Liverpool game, and didn’t play at Samp. Well? So this basically leaves us with TSB and/or Suazo, Crespo. Does Mancio have the testes to not play TSB? (On a bit of a brighter note, Roma will be without the services of Mancini and Juan.)
—-> Excuse my language, but who the fuck votes on these things. I’m basically asking, why is The Matrix there? The person who wrote this must of been either: a) blind, or b) on a heavy dosage of codeine.
—-> You have disappointed me, Mancini. “Vieira for me is not a problem. He had a good match, too good given his current physical condition.” Was he taking some codeine before the match with the goal.com guy? I thought that we would definitely see Manico rip Vieira to shreds, and make him run home crying, all the way back to the Prem. But no, he thought he played good. What kind of shit is that? Maybe he thinks there’s enough tension in and around the club, and he doesn’t want to cause anymore? He just can’t let this go, he must discipline this waste of life.
—-> Here’s the ref for Wednesday.
—-> Here are the league scoring leaders.

I don’t think Mancini is out fot he INter game, and if Ibra is out then I expect inter to go defend an not risk a lose than go attack Roma.
Juan also is going to return from his injury but I don’t think he will play.
who is Jimmy?

We’ll have to wait for a “offical” release to really see who is out. Now, it is basically just all speculation.
Jimmy is Luis Antonio Jiménez.

robert, give in to peer pressure and just do it! trust me, it will really help easy any pain from last week/the weekend! you feel like a million bucks the first time you throw it on!!!

so… 5 out of 6 times you would rather play a man down in Europe vs. Liverpool at Anfield for 60+ mins than roll the dice with 11 and have the ref prone to making a mistake that might go against you even though that can still happen if you have a man sent off? You can’t be serious… And its not so routinely awarded against you as you might think. Do you watch other football aside from Juventus games? I would still ove to know what MOMO was thinking at that exact moment. It might have been one of the top 5 dumbest fouls I have ever seen. I had already said it could have been let go, but seriously, why would you allow for any questions to be raised for a ball that could never have been won?

Kirby, great purchase!! I bought mine just prior to the beginning of the season. I love that shirt.
Whoever doesn’t have one I’d suggest getting one. It really is nice!! I still need to buy this season’s home jersey though.

I think you should have posted this video of Crespo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEMj17ta9dk&NR=1It is of his 2006/2007 season. In the other video, although impressive, was far too Chelsea blue for my tastes. If he can nutmeg De Rossi on Wednesday like he did last year - oh man!
The video did make me a little sad, though, as a large part of the wonderful play came from Dacourt. I sure do miss him.
I dont think Ibra will play on Wednesday. According to the Inter site he isn’t even training with the team (he gets cycling and water training). Balotelli is training with the team (along with a Ivan Fatic, whom I have never heard of), so we may get to see him again.

I was disappointed about Mancio, too. If I were him, I’d kick Vieira all the way back to France.Vieira showed no respect to Mancio.I don’t know what I would think of Mancio if he ever plays that sh*t again.

And did you all see this:
http://www.goal.com/en-india/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=599217Apparently Inter are cracking under the stress and team infighting is dooming our scudetto and CL hopes. Sigh. Just when we were doing so well. Win or loose, I still love them.

Kirby, haha sorry about that! Johonna, don’t worry about some opinion column on goal.com. Its what they do. They blow things out of proportion to make the story a better read. What they write or their interpretation of a situation they know nothing about means nothing. Everyone has been waiting for Inter to lose. Its a big deal to a lot of people.

Well there it is. No Ibra, No Cruz, but the kid did get a call up and I hope he gets some decent minutes. Jimmy is there too. I actually really hope the kid starts with Crespo.

Mancini and Juan are back btw.
Thought I’d update the DAWGS.

Perfect. To be completely honest I wanted Mancini back. Hopefully he starts, I’d rather him on the pitch than off of it. Juan… didn’t really care about either way.

I an not worried about anything. I would actually like to see Super Mario upfront with Crespo, they make a nice pair. The new Inter home jersey is beautiful. I got one for myself and my 11 month old son. Little Johnny looks like a pimp in his black and blue stripes.
FORZA INTER!

Crespo/Balotelli is how La Gazzetta is calling it.
http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/prob_form/25_giornata.shtml
They also predict Viera playing - I hope that turns out to be wrong.

Crespo/Balotelli = Win
God I hope Viera is not playing.Posted from

Yep. I hope Crespo is given the chance to really show his stuff (and there is still something there to show) with Ibra injured. I think it is pretty clear, I am a bit Crespo biased - I just plain like him.

I am a huge Crespo fan myself. I hope he makes the most of his opportunity but I think it will be Crespo/Suazo with Super Mario on the bench. Mancini said Super Mario is just coming off the flu and is not 100%.

Dear FIGC,
We will like to complain about the perfect refereeing that took place during the Torino match today. It was horrible that the referees got the calls so perfectly today. We cannot believe that the referee did not let our offside goal stand or allow a penalty when our player Nocerino blatantly dove in the box. The worst call of the night came at the end when the referee gave our player Nedved a red card. We believe that it! That card was totally unjust. Nedved did a totally legal thing(in our eyes), an we believe that the card should be rescinded.
Please Mr. Collina, look into this matter for we will not accept perfect refereeing.
You’re truly,
Juventus F.C.

Haha kirby. Classic.

haha kirby!!
Juventus were extremely lucky to come away with a point today. I wonder who they will complain to this time around.
After their open letter this past weekend and their antics on the pitch today… The diving, the complaining, Sissoko not playing the ball out at the end(God forbid one of their men were down), and then Nedved’s 6 year oldish outburst…
I am left to believe that they really are dispicable and have no class.
