Inter Info: 4/1/08
By: robert | April 1st, 2008What’s up my dawgs? A lot of you may be expecting an April Fools joke from me, your friends, family, or co-workers. You may even be the culprit. Personally, I always thought the holiday was a bunch of shit. The reason? No one ever takes anything to the extreme, and does a true April Fools prank. You guys know what I’m talking about. For an example, say you call your friend, and tell him you’ve been in a car accident. He comes rushing over to the “supposed” site of the accident, and then you yell “April Fools”. But, that’s a crock of shit. If you really wanted to get him, you would buy two (or more) cars from your local dump. Place them in “car accident” position, and then let him come. You could even use fake blood, an ambulance, or even light the cars on fire. Intentionally snap your arm, and spill fake blood all over the place. Have the ambulance take you to a near by hospital, and make your friend meet you there. It’s a huge bonus if the neighbors and a news crew gather near the accident site. As he rushes in the hospital, thinking you may have burned death, yell “April Fools!!!”. But, come to think of it, you would be the fool with a broken arm and possibly severe burns. But it would be soooo worth it. Here’s your daily fix. (Or perfect April Fools joke.)
—-> It was supposed to be Jose, maybe even Benitez. Not Steve McClaren. The former England boss and Middlesbrough manager was in town a to film a cereral commerical. (On a side note, cereral is the most boring breakfast a person could have. There’s tons of other possibility’s, and I command you to never each this humdrum shit. EVER.) But, it seems he was doing more than just filming. “It’s true that I discussed the role with some of their people.” Jose is still my first choice, but Steve has pushed into second after these reports. I know he has had some hard times with England, especially the 07-08 campaign, but he is still very tactially savy (I might of just made up a word.). Not better than Jose, but very good.
Oh, and by the way. April Fools. Sorry, goal.com got me, so I had to do this to feel better about myself.
—-> Will Fatty return? “There is no chance that he will stay. It was agreed that Adriano would play for six months and that will be respected.” The last game has basically summed up our strikers issues of late. Ibra did a whole lot of nothing, Suazo rotted away on the bench, and Crespo gave us a good effort. First off, if Ibra is hurt, he must not play. Not only is he hurting himself, he’s hurting the team as well. As for Suazo, I’m not sure what to think. He hasn’t been given enough time. Sure, his speed is terrific, but can he fit into a 2 forward system? At this point, I would welcome Fatty back. Not with open arms, but I would give him one more shot. What’s the worst that can happen? Besides getting into a huge “ego” fight with Ibra and the Matrix, effectively tearing apart our team. The risk isn’t too bad.
—-> Manico is up for sale. This is a great idea, not sure why I didn’t think of it first. Let’s start the bidding at a bag of Cheetos and a Reeses. A high price, I know. But you must understand, the market is very demanding now a days.
—-> My main man is heading to coaching suicide. Yup, he has taken over at Catania. He has coached a few teams before, which includes the MLS’s own New England Revolution. I love you, and I will always love you. But Walter, I must ask. Why do this to yourself? Why?
—-> I’m starting to get sick of talking about this. So you can just read it. Then you can talk about it, again.
I’m going to have to cut it a little bit short today. The Roma game just started, and I really don’t want to miss it. I picked out most of the main news, but if I missed something just post it in the comments. Now go watch the game. Oh, I almost forgot. Forza Italia.
Ciao.

There is this little nugget:
“Reports in the peninsula suggest that Inter wing-back Cesar Aparecido will move to San Siro rivals Milan at the end of the season.”

I must agree.

Cesar has been in the news a lot for not playing in the last 20 games. He was actually having a great season before he was injured. It was better having him at left mid instead of Chivu for god’s sake. They should keep Chivu in the back, he brings 0 to the offensive side of the ball.
Forza Inter and Fuck Roma

Well, it doesnt matter, now Milan say they dont want Cesar after all. Sigh….
Why do I even bother reading the Italian news. I guess that is what happens when you have to fill the pages of so many daily sport newspapers.

Will we have room for him with Ibra, Adriano, Rondaldinho, Suazo, and maybe Balotelli, Crespo, and Cruz (or any grouping there of)?
Cripes, how many forwards does a team need?

Not that he is not a good player, ’cause he is, I just think we are chucky-jam-full of strikers/attacking midfieldiers. Lets try for some wingers and a full back.
Come to think of it, the list doesnt include Drogba and whomever the maybe-so/maybe-not new coach may bring.
