Three down, One to go

By: Johonna | February 27th, 2009

Inter 4 - 0 Roma, Matchday 7
This weekend Roma comes to town. Until I make a real preview, I thought we could look at the three other times Inter have beaten them this season.

Supercoppa d’Italia: Inter 2 – 2 Roma at the end of the game, Inter 8 – 7 Roma after penalties.

Serie A: Roma 0 – 4 Inter

Coppa Italia: Inter 2 – 1 Roma

Prepare yourselves for incessant whining and pathetic conspiracy theories

This will be a tough one. Im predicting a 2-1 but a draw wouldnt surprise me. Totti and Zlatan scoring with a set piece making the difference for us

Roma have a lot of injuries right now. I think Aquilani, Juan are definitely out and De Rossi might be out. It seems like Totti has been injured all year

You know, watching that 0-4 video, I think that is my favorite Deki goal. He is just so darn excited afterward. If only Crespo could have a goal like that.

there’ll be no whining, dave. there’ll just be more affirmation that inter are cheating bastards. i’m calling a clear offside goal since inter’s handball goals quota is currently plumb.

I’m always dreading and looking forward to these Roma games. It’s going to be great to beat them once again but God I’m dreading the foulmouthed ridiculous remarks that will come from those Roma children.

I was glancing through the Roma blog & did not see any Inter bashing. Much to my surprise! I romanisti seem to reserve their ire for posts here.
Topics were mostly complaints about injuries and the (likely) upcoming loss to Inter.

I hope the inter players are more excited for this one than I am. Even though I keep telling myself to stop caring about the CL, all I can think of is the stupid 2nd leg…

Well, a win for roma could mean they achieve 4th place. A loss for Inter (with a win for Juve and Milan) would put the title to within 2 games for Juve.

I think that if Inter want to take the scudetto, we cannot afford to drop points against Roma. I think that Mou and the squad know this. We will take the field to win. Whether we pull it off is another story.

I wonder if Adri’s gonna start. 3 games in a week? We’ll see how that goes. Maybe we should go with the christmas tree

I was watching FSC and the scottish guy was talking about how Santon is keeping Maxwell out because “he has a better left foot”. I wonder if he even watches the games he analyzes

Dave, I bet they read goal.com to prepare.

Adri has got to start if he is going to get fit enough to actually play like he should. Besides, if not him, then who?

    Cruz is most definitely on the outs;
    Crespo, despite all his heart and effort, has yet to score;
    Balotelli….he may be a possibility.
    Obinna? Not to start.

Christ, what a sorry list. And it looked so promising at the start of the season.

I think that Santon is keeping Maxwell on the bench because he’s just a better defender. I think we are going to see more of Maxwell as a backup midfielder – probably his more natural position.

Plus I think that we need more help in the midfield. Muntari looks like he desperately needs a break, for example. Also, how many games straight has Cambiasso and Zanetti played? Has Zanetti played every game this season?

Our schedule until March 15ish is cruel. We might line up the scrubs to settle for a draw against Roma to be fresh against Genoa and Fiorentina.

inter player and fans are a bunch of homos. it is really hard to believe that nobody has descended inter with all that cheating in the derby and even in the game against roma in the coppa itaia were a goal for inter was clearly offside and the douchebag of the referee didn’t even count a clear penalty. fuck inter.

Btw, the ref for this game is Totti’s Udinese Bitch. So I think it’ll be safer for us not to play Ibra, since Mexes will be given free reign to try and put a few cheap shots on him like the Coppa Game. Or Riise will be given the go ahead to chop his ankles in the Area again without a spot kick.

We should also leave off Deki, since Totti has punched him in the face every game they played against each other this season. And we know that Totti won’t get sent off…

Well, Mexes was wrongly sent off last year, so it seems about even.

    Poor little, calm, innocent Mexes-lini.

What happened to him happens to everyone. He just has to cry about it.

Chivu and Rivas are not in the squad. Samuel is still injured. Who’s going to partner Cordoba in the back? Materazzi is in the squad, but he hasn’t played for a while (unless I missed something).

And MAD I agree – Muntari seems desperate for a rest.

Rivas, Jimi, Obinna, Crespo, and Cruz are left out for “technical reasons”

MAD you should be the last one talking about opposing players attacking your players.

Matterazzi is a real piece of shit.

Inter got lots of bullshit penalties last year from lots of non-existent bullshit fouls and handballs. And they still do. We won today, you’re gonna lose tommorow and ManU gave you a new asshole on tuesday.

Pssst… Dave, we aren’t allowed to talk about Juve and their policy of screwing everyone in Serie A for 20 years… Only their supporters are allowed to complain.

It’s the Juve double standard. Only those who are the most corrupt can complain about others who have been proven to not be.

How can you say that Juve been cheating for 20 yrs- it is ridiculous!!!

It is well documented that they have been cheating for more than 30 !!!!

Of all the previews today, the Palermo one tops the charts. Great stuff.
