I know MAD has been recommending Ledesma for a while now. I dont doubt his quality but I dont know how much playing time he would get

I think that we are safe from The Luca.

I can get on board with a pay raise for Maicon, you know as long as I don’t pay it…

I can also get on board with a Jimenez loan to West Ham.

I will drive the train if we can get Burdisso and Vieira out of here…

I hate this time of year. Useless stories and articles in the press about he’s going here, he’s going there. Why can’t they just let the transfer period play itself out and report the actual news and allow clubs to operate?

Can’t blame Maicon for wanting more money. He has been labelled countless times as the best full back in the world, though I wouldn’t completely agree with that assessment.

Now, he wants to be paid like the best full back that he has been labelled. Should he be?

I already cannot wait for next season. Does anyone know when the schedule for the 09-10 season is going to be released?

Ok everyone, just so you know, I am not neglecting this blog on purpose. I am trying to write something about the transfer market, but every time I start to really look at it, I become too discouraged to continue.

Inevitably, Inter are linked with player x (who I have never heard of in the first place) only to have the player, his agent, or the club president say absolutely not, player x will never leave … (insert club name here).

The Ibra thing makes my head hurt every time I think about it, and Maicon is spending all of the emotional capital he built up with me by behaving like a fool (he wants a whole new contract… read: he wants more money).

I look around and anyone I think should be considered for our team is either categorically NOT FOR SALE or has already been snapped up by a rival.

And then those stupid Luca Toni rumors come back.

I tell you, this may drive me to drink… more.

yeah i prefer ederson to deco cuz of the age difference. But i suppose Deco wouldnt be bad either cuz of the CL experience he has, but based on his performances over the last few years id have to say that i prefer Ederson.

From what I read about the Jimenez deal is that West Ham would have a buy out clause at the end of the season (sort of like Gourcuff) for about 7 million pounds.

Good luck to Jimenez at West Ham. It’s a loan deal, so if he has a breakout season maybe he can come back (though I highly doubt that). The Ederson video does make him look good, but I’m not sure those cute tricks/dribbles of his would fly in Serie A.
A few weeks ago I was certain Ibra was leaving, but now I’m starting to have some doubts…
