Paolo- Basically everything you said, I said in my review. Also, the 3 striker situation, is a good idea. Maybe a 4-3-3 that would look like this: Maicon,Burdisso,Max;Il Capitano,Cambiasso,Figo(Chivu and Stankovic still scare me there);TSB,Zlatan,Suazo

Zanetti and Maicon being centred by Chivu and, I guess because we have no choice, Burdisso. Should be good enough to hold Liverpool.

I’ve seen INTER beat Roma 4-3 in the italian supercup while trailing 3-0 and I’ve seen Inter beat Crapadoria 3-2, scoreing all 3 goals in the last 10 mins of the game. I am confident that they can beat Liverpool 3-0 at San Siro. Winning the Champions Leauge is not easy and it’s situations like the task at hand that makes champions. I think your problem is that I can see Liverpool finding the net in Milano if you dont have Cordoba back or Burdisso gets injured in Serie A … so you would need to score 4 times
It is doable but very difficult.

Ok, I am a little bit more calm, a little bit more rational.

Hats off to Liverpool. At the end of the day they won.

What a bad day to be Interista though.

Let me 1st say, not we did not play out best. Defensively we did. Through the middle we didnt and and it affected our strikers.

Red card was bullshit. A hand ball was missed that would have gave Inter a penalty, Viera’s could have gone either way… I am actually very surprised the ref didnt call it. He was making some bullshit calls everywhere else.

I was confident the draw was going to happen. Then, the MOTM to that point went down and off with a knee injury. I knew right there we would be lucky to finish the last 15 mins without conceeding. He was a rock in the centre Sure enough it happened. Chivu was fouled, Burdisso missed and easy chance to clear the header and the ball found Kuyt who who put a real shit strike on it. Unluckily it was defelcted and went over Cesar.

That Gerrard strike just killed me. I could have dealt with 1-0 going home nothing. How did that shit go in?

I am emotionally drained and disappointed to say the least. The match took a lot out of me. Its a bit tough to be optimistic about he 2nd leg staright away. Sure we can pull it off, its nowhere near impossible and I hope we crush those reds at home. They better leave Torres at Anfield… that piece of shit.

For the return Materazzi is out. Cordoba, who knows at this point. Lets just say he is. I hope we start with 3 strikers. Its no secret we need goals.
