Ibracadabra – Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Ibra…

By: Johonna | November 1st, 2008

…But were afraid to ask.

For instance:
– Want to know what kind of dog Ibra has? (French Bulldog)
– How about who his best friend is on the squad (Maxwell) and just what do they do in those pre-match retreats? (spooning may be involved)

Well all this and more can be found in this wonderful Swedish documentary, Circus Zlatan, about our golden boy. It is largely in Swedish, but some kind YouTuber has added English subtitles.

The film was made last May and takes us from training in Milan to driving around Malmo in a 20-foot long golden stretch hummer (really, isn’t that just what you expected him to drive?). You get to meet Dick, Zlatan’s able-bodied assistant and general whipping boy, plus loads of other characters that shaped Ibra’s young mind. The documentary is long, but has been broken up into five 9-minute segments. This is a must see for any Ibra fan.

Enjoy.

Sunday afternoon and we are still in 1st place. Don’t know who to root for in this one. If Napoli wins they go to first, but Milan is stuck at 19 and I think that’s better in the long run, because I don’t think that Napoli will go a whole season with Hamsik and company injury free, thus losing steam at some point.

Draw. That is the only way. Milan and Napoli must draw. If that wont happen, then Naples should win.

Mou’s called up a couple of new babies, Tremolada and Destro, for the Cyprus trip. And looks like it’s gonna be Ibra-Mario again up front.

Anyone else think that Ibra and Balo have some chemistry or other issues? Whenver they play I always see Ibra furious at Balo for something he did wrong. Since Adri and Cruz have seemed to fallen out with Mourinho, and Crespo also looking to depart, I wouldn’t mind seeing Aqua get some Pt for Inter…When is his loan deal up or whats the deal?

    Anyone watching the Milan/Napoli game.

Milan was looking a little ragged late in the first half, ala Arsenal from last year, when Maggio picked up a timely second yellow card ejecting him from the game and forcing Napoli to play with a man down.

Anyone watching the game saw that Milan, Ambrosini and Gatuso in particular, are playing an extremely phyical game against the young Napoli team. The fact that Gattuso isn’t booked at this point is a laugh.

Looks like the Prime Minister has made a few calls this year.

Speaking of Maggio, he and Santacroce look too good to wear just blue.

Maybe we can offer them some slimming black stripes?

I hope everyone here has gotten the memo.

Against us, Milan was allowed to play offside and foul in the penalty area without a whistle.

Against Napoli, Milan is given a man advantage, a penalty kick and Gattuso and Kaka are allowed to commit any foul on anyone at any time. They were given free kick after free kick in the Napoli third until result.

If it wasn’t for an own goal, well, we might have seen another Napoli player taken off.

When Milan plays Juventus and Udinese, watch for the pattern.

The memo is out from the office of the Prime Minister.

    It has been so ordered.

On a more humorous note, apparently Roma fans are no longer throwing eggs at their players, just coins.

I guess the fans think that the players have enough protein and are short their recommended daily allowance of iron, nickel, tin and riboflavin.

    ;)

Oh wow, someone besides me actually watched them! Hooray!

Poor Dick. I love the scene at Zlatan’s house in Milan when he makes Dick play xbox with him. What do they play? Some football game of course: Zlatan plays Inter (so he can control himself) and makes Dick play AC.

    Priceless.
