Roma shouldn’t win the derby…because Roma is a group of asshats and Lazio can’t keep up this form to challenge for a top 3 spot.

Next week’s match on the 22nd is against Juventus!! I can’t wait for it, but Palermo is first and this is a must win match that cannot be over looked. Here is the squad:

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 22 Paolo Orlandoni.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 25 Walter Samuel, 23 Marco Materazzi, 39 Davide Santon.

Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 14 Patrick Vieira, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 20 Sulley Muntari, 36 Francesco Bolzoni, 33 Amantino Mancini.

Strikers: 8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 9 Julio Cruz, 21 Victor Obinna, 45 Mario Balotelli.

Hmm no Quaresma. Is it possible Cruz starts up top with Ibra and Mancini?

Here is my guess at the starters:
Cesar
Maicon Samuel Cordoba Maxwell
Muntari Cambiasso Zanetti
Cruz Ibra Mancini

Or maybe the Balotelli starts with Cruz to come on later, but that is like saying we will need a late winner. Let him start, maybe he will grab an early one. He was scoring goals as a starter too the last few seasons, not just as a sub.

Dave, I hope we hit that form! I am expecting it as well.

Johonna, no need to feel bad for them. With their remarks they deserve no sympathy. I hope Lazio crushes them as bad as we did. I am looking forward to that match becuase it really is one of the World’s best derbies.

I know it is sort of galling, but I think that Roma should win the derby. It would be nice to have one less “sister” to deal with. Plus, I sort of pity them now. With this new DDR injury scare, I want to give them all a hug or something… Maybe a nice cup of cocoa or hot tea.

Dave, I am glad you are so optimistic! I am very concerned about Juve. I just hate them – smug little 2-star so-and-sos. Also Milan. I know they should win but that doesn’t mean that they will. Stranger things have happened.

I’m not concerned about Juve, Milan or anyone else. Inter will win the league by a comfortable margin and its laughable that our rivals are getting so worked up in November. All the talk is of how bad we’re playing and we’re still top. When we hit form it’ll be 06-07 all over again.

The main objective is the CL. Mou will have Inter peaking at the right time to finally end the drought! Forza Inter!

The eight “sisters” for this weekend:

Palermo v. Inter– Barring Juventus v Genoa, the toughest game for a “sister”.

Atalanta v. Napoli– I don’t see how Napoli loses this one.

Milan v. Chievo– Erm… Milan should win.

Udinese v. Reggina– Wow, I wouldn’t want to play Udinese this week.

Roma v. Lazio– I wonder how soon Lazio will build a lead big enough to sub off all their good players.

Juventus v. Genoa– What I thought was going to be a good game…

Cagliari v. Fiorentina– Interesting match up. Despite the obvious talent difference in Fiorentina’s favor, these two seem an awful lot alike.

— All of the “eight sisters”, those teams that are in the thick of the race at this point, have games that they *should* get points in. Genoa is the first to screw up. It will be interesting to see if a “sister” fails to get points from a game that one would consider winnable.
