Well, It just rankles me up. This time of year the everyone speaks of players as if they are objects to be done with as the club wills. I know they get paid a lot of money, but it still ruffles my feathers.

I don’t think we need Lamps now.

I am very happy with Muntari. He is a very good player, and will become world class in a few years. Maybe as soon as this upcoming season. Depending on how much time he plays. (I feel he will start and get PLENTY of minutes.)

It’s business. Lampard knows completely well because he grew up in the game ( Moratti said that his ties to his dad were the primary reason he decided to stay in London). Abramovich lost any sense of human proportion very, very, long ago, and Ranieri is just playing along with Lo Speciale.

I still expect Lampard to come on a free next summer; everyone wins.

I wonder if Ranieri and Abrahimovic know that this is a person they are talking about. Since when is Lampard an object to be given? By making such a gigantic ruckuss over this potential trade, all Chelsea has done is hurt one of their own players. Clubs need to realize that a contract is a term of employment, not a bill of sale.
