I agree with everything everyone says, including the goal.com opinions. I feel that it’s more of a “tabloid” soccer web site. But, it’s just fun to see some of the stupid stories that they put there.

According to goal.com, Ronnie has been transferred to Milan 13 times already. Some of the information is good, but sometimes it’s just a joke.

It isn’t being taken seriously here by even the more sensational outlets.

And Jack is also right about Goal.com. Their ability to take a twisted quote out of context, mistranslate it, and then spin it even more rapidly to fit the “sensational scoop” context of the day rivals Ronaldinho’s skill at free kicks (and has about as much basis in reality as that Nike clip that had him “playing catch” with the bar).

Actually, the whole ronaldinho to inter thing was a joke which was blown out of proportion. Basically consider the fact as something like this:
1- Mancini snickering and getting sick of the same question 100 times: “Dinho? Sure haha yeah yeah we’ll get him… whatever guys ”

2- Ibra interrupted with a stupid question about ronaldinho: “Huh… who? Oh yeah, he’s very good… yeah sure I’d play with him why not… anyways, so I was running and….”

Here’s the media’s take on it:

1- OH MY GOD MANCINI FINALLY **ADMITS** THAT HE IS AFTER RONALDINHO… cue crap about nike deal etc.

2- IBRA CONFIRMS INTER’S INTEREST IN RONALDINHO WISHES TO PLAY WITH HIM TO WIN SERIE A!!!

Of course all it takes is one bad reporter… 90% of football news is just copied over and written with more sensationalism to get more debates/page hits (I’m looking at you goal.com)

To get the actual “tone” of any statement, try to watch Sky and speak a bit of italian. Failing to do that, inter.it is the only source for official quotes without any spin.

Realisticly speaking, it’s impossible for Inter to place dinho anywhere on the team… there’s an amazing dynamic going on right now, and ronaldinho just doesn’t fit.

I don’t know what to make of this ‘dinho to Inter story. Are they trying to secure the deal for now or in the summer? I guess I am indifferent. His poor play could be the result of his boredom and maybe he just needs a change. Serie A is the toughest league in the World to play in and it might give him a renewed challenge. He would have to prove himself all over again. I am happy with this Inter squad and he wouldn’t be eligible for Champions League, so what is the point?

I wanted nothing more than to have Adriano return to top form and shine for Inter again… I still hope he does.

Mr. Spaletti should only worry about what goes on his matches, since those are the only ones he has influence on. His comments were proabably intended to agitate Inter. This is when Inter needs to stay more focused than ever. Teams find it hard to crack them on the pitch, so now they’ll try to do it off the pitch.
