Inter Info: 2/12/08

What’s up my dawgs? I’m still trying to warm up from yesterdays arctic blast of cold, (and yes, if you were wondering, my grandma is doing fine.) but it’s currently snowing so that’s not helping much. In other news, John Page Fitzgerald has been labeled as the worst person in the world. That must suck for him. Here’s your daily fix.

—-> Figo may not be ready. I sort of had a feeling that he wasn’t going to make the trip to Anfield when he didn’t even travel to Sicily this past weekend. Before the match he told the newspapers that he was fit, after having played in a scrimmage. This would be a big loss to Inter, mainly because of Figo’s experience. We have players that can fill his spot, but not many players have his experience. Looks like we’ll have to win without him.

—-> Fatty is in trouble again. (Compliments to Johnny for bringing this news to my attention.) Damn. He was progressing so nicely, not a peep from this guy. Then he goes and pulls a ZiZu. C’mon man. He has such talent, and just raw physical ability, that it’s a shame to see it go to waste. I’m not sure what’s going to happen form here on, but I hope he can get back on track. Somehow.

—-> My man Talentino is in Donadoni’s plans. Yes!!! I professed my love for him yesterday, and this is great news. He’s been great at Samp, and I hope he keeps it up. Seems like Doni wants to see a bit more consistency from him, before he calls him up. I can’t wait to see him with the national team again, where he belongs. What a day it’ll be.

—-> Catania are looking for any way to screw us. Now there saying we broke an FIGC rule by playing the Matrix, because he was taken off in Italy’s friendly due to an injury. There may be a possible fine for both the Matrix and Inter. Now that’s bullshit. I mean, c’mon, are they pulling these rules out of their ass?!?!? This must have happened before, but no one says anything. However, this time it’s Inter, so everyone must get involved.

—-> Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva told us no. Well, that’s what he’s reporting anyways. I can’t really comment on this, because I haven’t seen the 21 year-old play enough. However, it can’t be that big of a deal. I mean, we are doing pretty good without him.

—-> Please be aware of scheduling changes. What would you guys do without me?

Is that Il Capitano in that picture! He doesn’t carry around purses, he eats them. It must be a fake.

I want to break both of Nedved’s Legs and punch him in the face a few times. maybe land a few good ground pound style elbows too. Figo could have really helped in the CL tie with width, abilty to maneuver into the area and his crossing. we need him back.

Adriano is just a lost cause.

    Brutal Catania. Absolutely no class.

    Cassano deserves a call up.

Funny Pic, although we know nostro capitano is a rock. Pure class on the pitch!

Paolo- Yup, Figo’s terrific crossing will be missed.

As for Adriano, I’m starting to feel the same way.

Yes, Il Capitano is a terrific footballer, on and off the pitch. Not too many of those left around. We must enjoy him while we still can.

Not only do we miss Figo for his crossing but we miss him on free kicks from about 20 yards out. Zanetti is absolutely the best. If I could have a wish I would make Zanetti 20 yrs old so I could watch him play a lot longer. He can play a million positions and he plays each one with class. He dribbles around players like they are cones for christ sake and he is primarily a defender, not many defenders can do what he does. I guess the coach of Argentina looks an ass for not bringing him to the world cup. And yes Paolo, I would like to do the same to Nedved. If I ever saw him walking down the street in the U.S (which I never will) I will knock his ass out. And I would do it like a punk just like Nedved is, I would sneak the hell out of him. Any punishment would be worth it. (WOW that was a rant but so true) With that being said though, I hope Juventus takes it to Roma this weekend.

He may be sorry, but I would still break that little weasels (sp?) face if I ever saw him on the street.

Re Matrix, I recall that both Kaka and Pato were “injured” and couldn’t play the Internationals last week because they would be out for “months”. Yet suddenly they will be playing in the CL game this week… and nobody said a word. I have nothing against Milan, it’s a good tactic in my opinion and every team should do it because the international game crap isn’t worth it if you’re supporting the club… but the double standards are pissing me off.

Great pic, does it make you feel go to good know that a picture of the Argie NT has almost all past or present Interista on it? I wonder why Battigol never made it to San Siro…
