The return is going to be in Nicosia. The stadium in Larnaca is too small, and Famagusta is in occupied territory.

Quaresma has used the trivela to this annoying extent throughout his career to date; it’s one of the things that drives people around the bend. If anyone can get him to be a bit more judicious, it’s the combination of Mourinho and Ibrahimovic.

I expect Balotelli to play against Genoa, and to have something to prove.

Yes, Alessio, Figo has a broken toe. Now he is saying he might not retire this year either. Poor guy. He just wants one more season but I am not sure he has it in him.

MAD, yep, we did it. Clear at the top but then it will be off to Famagusta to play them again. I hope we can pull a couple rabbits out of our hat for that trip. And I hope by then Mourinho has beaten this whole trivela thing out of Quaresma once and for all. Tricks are all fine and good, but only when you are scoring consistently. He puts one in the back of the net and then we will talk!

That’s what I was chanting as I was at work. I was getting some weird looks, but the upside of acting like a lunatic is that no one bugs you if you aren’t actually hurting people…

Okay, so I just paid for the privilege of watching us soar to the top of our group.

I really didn’t see anything to bitch about, except the freaking hand ball in the AREA ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME… sorry but it’s @2am right now and if I actually yelled that like I wanted to Ms. MAD would… well she just would, okay?

I thought every one played well, Mancini and “Corner kick” Quaresma (we almost always get one of those when he has the ball.. not a bad thing) supported the attack and the upper flank well. Chivu played like it was 3 years ago… what a madman. Muntari, what else can I say, he could have scored and he dispossessed everyone around him. Zanetti had a couple of those trademark runs. Cambiasso played extraordinarily well before he hurt himself… again.

I thought Maicon looked a little off and Ibra missed a sitter.

But we played lockdown. We were calm and we dominated. Toldo didn’t have much to do, but when he was called to action, he came through.

3 points and the group is ours. Top of the league, top of the group… that sounds kinda familiar, didn’t someone say something like this just recently…

Since Quaresma hasn’t produce anything at all and Mancini has been off and on, why not try Balo at that position? Or at least sub him on at half. I’m sure Mourinho knows what hes doing, but it just sucks watching these games and seeing nothing from that side of the pitch.

From what I read via the Gazzetta, it was a pretty uninspiring game. Mancini and Quaresma are really failing to hold up their spot…is Figo injured again?

Lol yea that trick is getting old but that is not what bothers me in his game the fact that he does not play for the team sometimes well maybe most of the time does out of everybody in the squad including zlatan , Quaresma has the biggest potential he just needs to be more of a team player and as johanna said cut down on that damn trivela
