As usual J, you’re the source of wisdom. We MUST field a better team in the second leg, especially in the midfield. I agree with Cambiasso, I personally think he is one of, if not the best in the world right now at his position. As for Crespo, he’s a terrific finisher, but it’s been the Ibra and Cruz show of late, and it should stay that way.

After Pele and Rivas’s performances, I say, give them more time during Serie A matches. As for Vieira, no one wants him. He’s a good player when he’s healthy and in shape, but he’s neither of those now.

Also…Viera just stay hurt. You looked horrible in the limited minutes you played. Can we sell him to somebody? Anybody? The guy is one of the highest paid players and he hasn’t given Inter a thing in the longest time. I actually didn;t even know he was still alive. He is always too hurt to play for Inter but I if France had a game he would magically be able to play 90 minutes for them. I would say see ya later…I don;t know what you all think.

Iaquinta should’ve been carded for simulation in the box…couldn’t agree more jimmy. I watched the replay at night on GOLTV so I actually was able to watch the entire game. I am looking forward to the game next week and I hope we field a stronger team. Ibrahimovic instead of Crespo. (Sorry Cressp, big fan but you are just not “on” at the moment) I want Zanetti in the game from the start. His leadership and the ways he controls the tempo of the game would be crucial for Inter. I’d also like to see Maicon back in but I don’t know what his status is. And one last wish…please start Cambiassio in the midfield…god damm has he been clutch lately.
Pele was putting on some great moves in the midfield and Rivas played like a vet. Both have very bright futures for Inter. Next game 2-1 Inter….Ibrahimovic with the brace

Considering what happened early on in the game, I think Inter played well but unfortunately we couldn’t hold out till the end. In my opinion, if it wasn’t for Materazzi’s injury we could’ve won it but that wasn’t to be. Anyway, this makes the next game interesting because the tie is still wide and any team can win it. I must also say that I was happy to see the likes of Pele and Rivas putting a good performance.
I just hope that we field a “stronger” team in Turin next week.

Jimmy- Along with your comments, I feel it was an entertaining match due to the amount of younger players that Mancini played. I think these “non experienced” players brought alot of energy to the match, instead of “tactical smarts”.

very entertaining match. The media campaign against inter has already borne its fruits. The Burdisso red card might be within the norm though I reckon he wasn’t really last man as rivas would’ve caught up with del piero. I don’t think the card was for a tackle from behind either (when will those come into effect?). Iaquinta should’ve been carded for simulation in the box and crygari (not sure bout his name) risked being carded twice…

for the actual game it was quite entertaining unlike most of these anticipated big matches which end up being ultra static tactical midfield battles. Inter lacked concentration and were in the midst of reorganising the squad due to materazzi’s forced exist which allowed a rather unimpressive juve side to come back. Cruz’s combination with maxwell which ended up on the upright would’ve been goal of the season so far for inter.
