Now that’s Bollocks. Tactics? Its was not hard to enjoy the lion’s share of possession in the 1st leg when it was clearly evident that Inter were only going to defend after losing a defender 30 mins. Liverpool were at Cordoba’s mercy until he went down to injury. The 2 goals were poorly taken. There were not many quality chances that Liverpool created.

The 2nd leg… i don’t know what you were watching. Almost all Inter. Even though I did not agree with the formation or players used in that formation from Inter. Tactics? a Rafa 4-5-1 that was only trying to hit on the counter and that didn’t do anything until you went up a man…. again. Torres took his chacne well, fair play. Just be happy Inter failed to put away the chances they had, becasue surely Liverpool wasn’t doing much to stop them. Tactically outplayed? I beg to differ.

The 3-0 agg. scoreline is very flattering to Liverpool. They were not so dominating, especially not today. Inter failed to put the ball in the net. Liverppol could nothing to stop them… all they could was thank the stars they Inter was off target and made some poor decisions.
