So, I know we are all over the horror that was the Derby and are fully looking ahead to getting back to winning ways with the Bologna game on Saturday (preview post to follow), but our friend Paolo was actually at the Derby and he sent me some pics. Since he went to all the trouble to email me from wherever he was, I thought I would post a chunk of them for everyone to enjoy.

  Normally, the saying goes - A Picture tells 1000 words.

  in this case the pictures don’t speak as much. it was truly remarkable. It is tough to put into words too. The energy and the level of intensiy in the stadium is over whelming. Something that needs to be expereinced by either supporter of this long rivalry. It was pretty hostile in there, but for the most part it was also pretty civil.

  I really hope that you all get the chance to experience it, and for those who support clubs other than Inter or Milan, I hope you get to see your club play in a match that carries that much importance or emotion. I was on the edge of my seat the entire game, yelling and screaming with everyone else, and as quickly as it started, it was over. I will definitely be back for another one. There is no question about it.
