I agree. In fact, I actually cheer for Serie A clubs even in the knock out rounds. I really did pull for Inter against Liverpool last year (I’m a Milan fan, so I’m sure the reasons are obvious). And with the Final being in Roma, I can’t think of anything better than at least one Italian representative taking part in the match.

One would hope that as fans of the Serie A in general, all of us that frequent this board will support all the Italian teams. I hope they all progress out of groups. After that, all bets are off.

I really like Mourinho, and even though he’s the manager of the merda, I still think he has a brilliant personality and footballing brain.

Also, it looks like Inter already have a foot in the round of 16 with a group that soft. I sincerely mean this: I hope Inter do Italy proud (you know, with there 2 Italian players…I just had to) and go far in the Champions League. A semi-final spot seems very much in reach.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit.

Well, Juve really really want the kid. Aquilani really really wants more money. Still, I thought he was being groomed for Roma greatness. I am surprised they are letting him go at all. It could be BS, though. We will see when next year comes around

I would prefer he go to Benfica rather than Roma – I still say there is something not right with their dressing room.

By the way, and I am trying NOT to get excited here, but BS.com is reporting that Suazo has agreed to the move to Benfica for a loan-to-hire. If this is true, and it is a huge if, RQ MAY be on the way.

Here’s my problem (one of many, I know). I just don’t see the backups adding up…

Okay, heres the midfield:
LM- Muntari, CM- Cambiasso (someday), RM-Zanetti
Okay, so who, as of right now, realistically plays behind them?

LM- Pele, CM- Stankovic, RM- Jimenez?

If we get rid of Pele for Quaresma and Jimenez on loan… then we are left with… Vieira and Dacourt? Because we all know that Mancini and Figo are midfielders in classification only, right?

I think Crespo is hoping he can win back first team. Frankly, I am surprised he is still here. Dacourt is harder – how do you sell a broken player?

Also, dont forget the christmas market. I think we will see some action in December. Adriano is still up in the air, and Crespo may finally get tired of sitting on the bench.

Quaresma has to go somewhere. The coach is not including him in his plans for Porto’s upcoming season. I just dont understand what all the drama is.

Also, dont forget Jimenez. I read that Branca is looking for a team that will take him on loan.
